If you are ready to get seriously focused about achieving what you really want in 2023 then it is time to start a daily ritual that will empower you to do the goals you've set for yourself and the energy and motivation to do them. Taking daily action is the best way to signal to your subconscious mind and the Universe that you are committed to making the positive changes.

Establishing a daily ritual at the onset of the beginning and ending of a new day could be the deciding factor on whether you have a successful or an unsuccessful day. It is vital that you start the day off in an empowering frame of mind and end it on a positive note as well.


Kickstarting your day

You can decide the order that you action the suggestions. What is important is that you begin weaving them into your life.



Stretch and Breathe

When you get up in the morning, open your eyes and even before you leave your bed perform some simple stretching exercises and breathe deeply. This will help to get your blood circulation moving and will provide you with much needed energy.


Visualise – Take a few moments to imagine the day ahead. In your minds' eye see yourself moving through the day ahead with ease. Use the time also to visualise that you already have what you really want in your life now. If it is money then see it in your account. If it is weight loss then see the new slimmer you. Make the feelings really intense this should be a very joyous session for you.


Positive Affirmations – Create a list of positive affirmations and speak them silently or out loud. This will send positive signals to your subconscious and the Universe and will set you in the right frame of mind for the day ahead.


Read your Goals and get inspired – Read your goals and the reasons why you want to achieve them. Get inspired by this and feel all of the positive energy entering your body.


Set Your priorities – Make a list of your daily tasks. This should include carving out a space for essential self-care such as time scheduled in for movement and exercising as well as a healthy meal plan for optimum energy. Use the power of inertia and choose a simple task on your "to-do" list first to build momentum .


End the Day on a Positive Note


It is important that you end the day right so that you can get a good night’s rest. Here is what you need to do:

Record your day

A journal is a great way to see how far you have come with your goals. If you don’t have a journal then start one today. At the end of every day write down your major accomplishments and the feelings you have experienced. Add doodles or whatever you want to inspire you.

You can use the most basic notepad as a journal – it really doesn’t matter. You can use a pen and paper arrangement or a computer based journal. There is something about writing and recording things that is really empowering. If you are feeling down for any reason, look back over your journal entries to give yourself a lift.


Plan for the next day – reflect on your daily “to do” list and plan ahead for tomorrow. It is better to do this the night before as you will know exactly what you need to do in the morning and you can start immediately.


Re-read your Goals – reflect on your goals and focus on your why, the reasons for achieving them again at the end of the day.
